Proceeds for the luncheon will help the Beverly Hills Theatre Guild fund their annual national playwriting competitions

Actress Charlotte Rae passed away earlier today at the age of 92. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed reading her book, The Facts of My Life (which she co-authored with her son Larry Strauss), not only all of the great stories she shared about her stage career in New York, but especially learning about the quiet strength she exhibited throughout her life while overcoming great personal trauma.
