Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Emmy and Oscar-winning screenwriter, producer, and director GEORGE STEVENS JR. on working closely with his dad, Academy Award-winning director George Stevens (A Place in the Sun, Giant, Shane, The Diary of Anne Frank) early in his career; developing his own style as a director while working with Jack Webb, Blake Edwards, and Alfred Hitchcock; how a unique opportunity to work with legendary broadcaster Edward R. Murrow in Washington, D.C. not only changed the course of George’s life, but changed the course of film history through George’s efforts with the American Film Institute (and, later, the Kennedy Center Honors); and why the true measure of a motion picture, or any artistic endeavor, is whether it stands the test of time. George’s memoir, MY PLACE IN THE SUN: Life in the Golden Age of Hollywood and Washington, becomes available wherever books are sold through University Press of Kentucky beginning Tuesday 5/17 and is a great Fathers Day gift

Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Actor and voice artist STUART PANKIN on why comic actors are often equally adept at playing drama; why being the voice of Earl Sinclair on DINOSAURS was a great job to have, but a hard job to do; and how his experience on the short-lived sitcom THE SAN PEDRO BEACH BUMS created an important professional relationship that led Stu to other film and TV work. Stu plays a retired professor of European history in DEEP IN THE FOREST, a political thriller that becomes available for viewing on demand on all major streaming platforms beginning Tuesday 5/31
