Marc’s latest book, These Are the Voyages: Gene Roddenberry and Star Trek in the 1970s, Volume 2, takes you behind the scenes of the making of Roddenberry’s pilot Spectre, the aborted Star Trek: Phase II television series, and the various battles between The Great Bird and studio executives at Paramount over what Star Trek was—and what it wasn’t.
