We’ll play Part 2 of a conversation that began on our last program with Stefanie Powers, the actress known around the world as Jennifer Hart on Hart to Hart, and the founder and president of the William Holden Wildlife Foundation, a nonprofit organization that Stefanie established in 1982 in memory of William Holden, the love of her life, that continues and furthers Holden’s conservation work in East Africa. We’ll ask Stefanie what first fueled her interest in animal wildlife preservation. She’ll also answer email questions from our listeners about some of her famous movie and TV roles, plus she’ll tell us which motion picture was William Holden’s favorite, and why. Stefanie Powers will join us in our second hour.

Also this week: We will welcome actor, author, screenwriter, producer, and acting teacher Joe Coyle.

Joe’s screen credits include Promised Land, Jack Reacher, Won’t Back Down, Ocean’s 11, Out of Sight, Three Kings, Zoolander, and the live TV production of Fail Safe. Joe has shared screen time with the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Tom Cruise, Brian Dennehy, Mark Wahlberg, Courtney Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Don Cheadle, Harvey Keitel, Elle Macpherson, and plus he was George Clooney’s stand-in on nine feature films (plus the final two seasons of E/R), and Ben Affleck’s stand-in on four. He has also written, directed and produced several short films, and has taught acting in many venues on the East Coast.

Joe Coyle is also one of the contributors to Beyond Where the Buses Run, an anthology of short stories edited by Theresa Griffin Kennedy that also features Robert Crane. We’ll talk about Beyond Where The Buses Run, plus Joe will shed light on what a stand-in does in movies and television, and how being a stand-in can be a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of film and TV production, up close and personal. Joe Coyle will join us in our first hour.
