Topics this segment include how Morgan approached playing the Man with No Eyes, a role that required him to convey character without any dialogue; how Morgan originally auditioned for the role of Jock Ewing on Dallas before he was eventually cast as Punk; and Morgan’s longtime friendship with Jim Davis, the actor who played Jock.

Segment 1, Part 2: From September 2012: Morgan Woodward on how his acting career sprang out of his interest in opera; his early background with the Margo Jones Theatre in Dallas and, later, Walt Disney Pictures; the pivotal assists that both Fess Parker and a young Aaron Spelling gave Morgan very early in his career; Morgan’s long association with Westerns; and his experience of working with John Cassavetes on The Killing of a Chinese Bookie. Morgan Woodward passed away on Friday, Feb. 22 at the age of ninety-three.
