Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: MARTHA BOLTON, the first and only full-time female writer that BOB HOPE ever hired, on the special connection that Hope always had with our military troops, especially the fighting men and women who served our country during World War II. Martha is the co-author, along with Hope’s daughter, LINDA HOPE, of DEAR BOB: Bob Hope’s Wartime Correspondence with the GIs of World War II, an astonishing collection of the some of the many letters, postcards, photographs, and packages that were sent back and forth between Bob Hope, the troops, and their loved ones. Thursday 5/6 marks the 80th anniversary of Hope’s first show for U.S. troops. DEAR BOB is available right now through University Press of Mississippi and Amazon.com
